(Dual Enrollment)
The college courses listed below are dual enrollment with Miramar Community College and earn credit towards high school graduation and college. One semester of a dual enrollment college course is equal to a full year of high school credit, therefore students will receive 2 high school credits on their transcript with double the weight in included into their GPA, for each college course taken.
Our dual enrollment courses are available to eligible junior and senior students.
Note: When applying to 4 year colleges, a college transcript must be sent directly from the college in order to be considered for college credit at your future university. Furthermore, a college transcript must be sent to any college requesting transcripts as part of the college admissions process.

You must meet the prerequisites to be qualified for enrollment in the class.

You and a parent/guardian must watch a mandatory presentation to be eligible.

Students must follow the steps provided in the presentation to be enrolled through Miramar college, otherwise they cannot be enrolled in the college courses.

This class is the start of your college transcript, therefore these grades will affect your college GPA and future opportunities for financial aid.

If you do not do well in the class it cannot be made up at the high school.

If you do not do well in a college course, you will not be eligible for future dual enrollment college courses.
