Schedule Changes
Before School Year Starts
Students will have an opportunity to request changes to their schedule in person during Kickoff right before school starts. Students who cannot attend Kick-Off may send their requests through friends or family members. Changes are made if possible.
After School Year Starts
Once the school year has started we will only change schedules if the student is misplaced in the wrong level course (e.g., Student has Spanish 1,2 but should have Spanish 3,4), wrong grade level course (10th grader placed in a 9th grade English class), there is a course missing or have a repeat course (e.g., already took Art 1,2 and will not earn credit again)
If a student is not doing well in a class because they do not have the skills to be successful, then the change for a request must be initiated by the teacher.
