Before School Year Starts
Students will have an opportunity to request changes to their schedule through an online form during Kickoff right before school starts. Changes are made IF the student is qualified, there is room in the class and room in their schedule.
After School Year Starts
Once the school year has started we will only change schedules if the student is misplaced in the wrong level course (i.e. AP course but should be in regular college prep), wrong grade level course (10th grader placed in a 9th grade English class), there is a course missing or have a repeat course (i.e. already took Art 1,2 and will not earn credit again)
If a student is not doing well in a class because they do not have the skills to be successful, then the change for a request must be initiated by the teacher.
